Pisani’s involvement with Contac began almost 20 years ago as a Board Director before taking the helm as President and CEO in 2005. He has grown Contac from a small entrepreneurial business into a company with over 200 employees, as well as operations and alliances in North America and Europe.

Pisani has led Contac through corporate milestones including the introduction of new products; the acquisition of two companies; expansion into the travel, entertainment and sports markets; and improvements to the company’s marketing services, printing, fulfillment and logistics divisions.

“The finalists were selected by an independent judging panel based on a number of criteria, including innovation, influence, financial performance and the ability to demonstrate a bold entrepreneurial spirit,” said Fred Withers, Program Director for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in the Pacific region.

“These finalists exemplify the outstanding business talent that exists here in British Columbia, and we’re proud to honour them as leaders nurturing economic growth and innovation.”

“It is an honor to be shortlisted as a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year award,” said Pisani. “The company’s success is directly attributed to the hard work of our entire company. This nomination was possible because of our team effort to take the company to a new level.”

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award winners will be announced at a gala event on October 8, 2009, in Vancouver.
